Class of Graduates Celebrates Commencement in Record Numbers

This year's commencement ceremony was the largest in the university's history, with graduates crossing the stage across three back-to-back sessions over a single weekend.

Family and friends filled the grounds for each session, and a livestream let those who could not travel watch from home. Several graduates were the first in their family to complete a degree, a milestone the vice-chancellor singled out in her address.

"You will remember today less for what was said from this stage," she told graduates, "and more for who was sitting in the audience watching you hear it."

Degree certificates will be posted to graduates over the coming weeks, with digital copies available immediately through the student portal.
