Global Health Symposium Brings Together Researchers From 20 Countries

The annual Global Health Symposium drew researchers, clinicians and policy specialists from twenty countries to campus for two days of talks focused on health systems in low-resource settings.

Sessions ranged from vaccine cold-chain logistics to community health worker training, with a deliberate mix of academic papers and practitioner case studies. Organisers said the format is designed to keep the conversation grounded in what is actually deployable, not just what is publishable.

A recurring theme this year was data: several speakers argued that better use of the health data systems already in place would do more good, faster, than most new interventions.
